GO TO 40TH ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND FOR DETAILS OF THIS YEAR'S EVENT
What better theme for our annual weekend than the 'Roaring 20s', taking us from the 1920s - when the Great Gatsby drove around in elegant cars, the Charleston was all the rage and carnival glass took the world by storm as its manufacture spread across the globe - to the 'Roaring 2020s'.
We have great pleasure in inviting you to our very special 'Roaring 20s' weekend where you can enjoy our exciting programme which includes: spectacular carnival glass displays, fascinating presentations on 'Roaring 20s' carnival glass, 'Show and Tell' forums and informal discussions with fellow enthusiasts as well as lots of carnival glass for sale to suit all pockets (buyers and sellers welcome).
Delicious food will be served at our informal Friday evening supper and our 1920s themed 'Speakeasy' Saturday night dinner. The weekend will be rounded off by a very special demonstration, for our Carnival Glass Society, of iridised glass being made in the 2020s in an old Railway Station, followed by lunch and a heritage train ride.
Whether you are a carnival glass buyer or seller or you just appreciate finding out about the glass it is definitely an event not to be missed, with the option to attend any or all of the individual programme days.
