The Carnival Glass Society (UK) - About Us

The Carnival Glas Society is an UK-based organisation, formed to promote interest in the collecting of carnival glass. It has members from across the globe, and all you need to join is an interest in carnival glass. As part of your membership, you receive the following : 

 

 

• Forty page quarterly newsletter packed full of interesting articles, new research, the latest finds by members, ‘dates for your diary’ and information on trips and events. More info.

 

• Trips and events which are exclusive to CGS members. More info.

 

• Invitations to gatherings at members’ houses to see their carnival glass collections and meet with other carnival glass collectors. More info.

 

• Access to the Carnival Glass Society Market Place in the members’ area of our website where members can list items of carnival glass that they would like to buy or which they have to sell.

 

• Two for one admission discount at many major antique fairs around the UK. Details available here.

 

• Invitation to attend the CGS annual weekend held each September with lectures, talks, displays and sales of carnival glass, raffles, evening dinner with entertainment and much more. Details.
